• Young boys and girls, precocious teenagers, college students, corporate executives, a journalist, entrepreneurs, educators, CEOs, a priest, couples, single people, senior citizens.
Space prevents us from naming them and all the twelve thousand plus parents who send us their kids again and again. |

"The iDiscoveri program was tremendously constructive. In fact I do not have words to express myself. The attitude of my girls has now changed from I can't to I can. Thank you for giving them the confidence to challenge their fears and conquer them and making them shine bright." |

We created Youreka! because we believed that children can realise their true potential by getting in touch with nature. So why not immerse children in an environment where nature is their habitat? Can one stretch the mind by pushing the limits of the body? Is it as meaningful to major in mountain biking and rock-climbing as it is in chemistry or history? |
|
| What started in 1996 as an 8-day summer getaway for 60 children into the hills, is now a movement that has hosted over 12,000 children-India's largest summer program. At the scenic iDiscoveri campuses, trees, rock faces and biking trails effectively replace blackboards and textbooks. |
|
| When children arrive on camp, a whole new world opens up for them. Far away from family and in the excitement of the unknown, children overcome their fears. The curriculum is built around 'majors'-activities like rock-climbing, mountain biking and trekking-in which children build depth of expertise. 'Minors' like music, photography and journalism add to breadth of experience. The activities and reflection are tied together through themes of self-discovery that children uncover- communication, trust, empathy, achievement and team work. |
